Sudanese Youth Hostels Association
Sudanese Youth Hostels Association is a voluntary organization founded in 1972 . It is an active member of the Arab Youth Hostel Union since 1974 , and a full member of the International Youth Hostel Federation ' IYHF' since 1976 .
The Association is run by a Board of Directors , and its Headquarter is located in Khartoum . It has neither political nor commercial nature .
The Association‘s objectives :
- Developing and supporting the Youth Hostels movement in Sudan .
- Developing the youth‘s knowledge and encouraging them for traveling to increase their knowledge and information about their country as well as the other countries of the world .
There are six Youth Hostels in our net work throughout the country offering safe and clean accommodation .Khartoum / Madani / Kasala / BortSudand / Alrosers / Halfa
Hostels are open to every one , regardless of age , sex , nationality or religion .
Bearers of valid member ship cards are only allowed to sleep and practice activities in Youth Hostels .
All Youth should abide to hostel rules and regulations .
All Guests should abide to discipline and utilities cleanliness .
Khartoum Youth Hostel :
Facilities provided :
80 Beds – All rooms are air conditioned .
Accommodation and bath / toilets separate for males and females .
Catering for groups can be arranged .
Kitchen and dining hole Facilities
Sightseeing trips in and around Khartoum can be organized .
Overnight fee per person : SD3.500 ( rooms with two bed ) .
SD 2.500 ( rooms with more than two bed ) .
Reservation : Making reservation is advisable especially for groups .
Application via telephone , Fax and E-mail are accepted .
Payment must be done in cash only .
